Research Culture Takeover Week 2026

Join us from 20 to 24 April for Research Culture Takeover Week 2026 – five days of workshops, research showcases, training, and a national conference open to everyone!
Research Culture Takeover Week brings together the University of Leicester and wider community to celebrate research, researchers, research-enablers, and research culture. These in-person and hybrid events have been organised in collaboration with the research community at Leicester to help build connections, share good practices, and promote a positive and inclusive research environment for everyone.
All events are open to the research community – including postgraduate researchers, research and teaching staff at all career stages, technicians, professional services, third space professionals, and anyone with an interest in promoting inclusion.
There are lots of ways to get involved in Research Culture Takeover Week. You’re invited to share your work on creating more equitable and inclusive research and teaching environments in our EDI showcase. Staff and students in the College of Business are also invited to showcase their research and take part in cross-disciplinary conversations.
